5. Sizing it Up in Japan

Backstory

Shortly after arriving to Fukuoka, I hit up Nitori, one of my favorite stores. They sell home goods and often when renting an airbnb there are some things that are missing or need replacing — like scratched tephlon frying pans.

I debated buying a bath stool to really get the full living in Japan experience but I wasn’t sure what the most appropriate way to size my booty was or if I really felt like lugging a giant stool all the way home from the store.

In the end I didn’t buy anything, but I did look pretty silly in the store :)
