New Song!

Okay, I know I just set this up but since there’s nothing on here anyway I figured I might as well double-post and write about what I did recently.

Tuesday night after work I drove over to my cousin’s house to pick him up for band practice. No one else was available for practice but the two of us decided to practice anyway. We wrote a new song titled, “The Words That Broke My Heart.”

Now I know it sounds corny, but if you heard the song you’d see that the title is somewhat misleading. This is in no way at all a love song.

I personally made up for the lack of band members by writing some extra parts for the other instruments and we recorded the entire song in about an hour and a half. I worked a lot yesterday and today on mixing the audio to try to get the volume levels right. Since I’m a novice at recording this is a bit of a challenge for me still.
